Background
Jan Swanson teaches workshops and paints in her home studio in Columbia, SC. She is a graduate of Clemson University and a native of Asheville, NC.
She is largely self-taught having taken classes at the University of South Carolina, Penland School of Crafts, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts and has completed Nicholas Wilton’s Creative Visionary Program.
Jan is represented by Camellia Art Gallery in Hilton Head and Bluffton, SC.
